Introducing Avery Hilpert

Avery is a former minor softball player with the Waterloo Ghosts (2006-2019) who continued her athletic career at the University of British Columbia, competing in NAIA softball. She brings a wealth of experience from playing at the highest level of Canadian University Softball to her role as a coach. Avery has also coached youth in the Waterloo region, developing a hands-on, engaging, and personal coaching style. Her focus is on teaching the fundamentals and deep knowledge of the game, with the goal of helping young female athletes build confidence, sharpen their skills and prepare for success beyond their minor softball careers.

Avery's accomplishments include being a 1x national gold medalist, 2x national bronze medalist, 3x Academic All Canadian, and a member of the UBC Softball Team from 2018-2022.
